I am Jacopo Daniele Molfese, Ceo of Model Makers Milano.
I started to build scale models when I was 7 years old and I've always been building something as far as I remember. After my graduation in psychology, I started to build custom yacht models in 2013 as a hobbist using classic methods - mainly wood - and then fiberglass and composite materials. After the large introduction on the market of FDM 3d printers, I decided it was the right time to make the step and turn a simple passion into a job. In 2017 I created Model Makers Milano, turning my passion for modeling and my almost 20 years old knowledges into a company capable of responding to my customers needs. I am in constant research for the best partners and people to work with, along with the best and newer methods of work. Persistance in research pays back. And now, after several years, I have many prestigious shipyards, architects and designers amongst the customers of my company. Yet, I still work with the same passion and curiosity of the early days. |
